The dress uniform of a Knight of Justice and Devotion consists of a white gabardine jacket; pants of black cloth with a yellow-red-yellow stripe; gold epaulettes of approved design with the Cross of the Order on a red eight-pointed star; white shirt, black tie, black boots and white gloves. The lapels and cuffs of the dining jacket shall be lined with carmine red silk in an approved design and the cuff facings shall be edged with gold piping.
The dress uniform of a Knight of Grace and Devotion is the same except that the epaulettes are carmine red and there are no gold piping on the sleeves.
The alternate uniform of the MOC Order of the Collar consists of a white blazer of homologated design, black pants, and a white waistcoat and tie.
As an alternative to the uniform, a Professed Knight may wear a white tunic with wide sleeves turned up at the cuffs and a shirt-like collar, fastened at the neck with a cord through six eyelets, and with a white belt or sash. the linen passed twice around the waist. Alternatively, a plain white clerical alb may be worn. The cloak has the Cross of the Order embroidered on the left breast.
A professed knight of the Militare Ordine del Collare wears under the tunic in summer, knee-length breeches with white stockings, and in winter, black trousers. Black shoes are worn in all seasons.
On occasions when it is impractical to wear the uniform, a Knight of the MOC Ordine del Collare may wear during the day either a morning suit or a dark ballroom suit at the discretion of the head of jurisdiction; in the evening, be it an evening gown, a tuxedo or a dark ballroom suit.
There is no prescribed uniform for the Ladies of the Military Order of the Collar. Ladies of the Order wear on all formal occasions a suitable dress preferably black or some other dark color with black shoes, white gloves and a black mantilla or some other veil to cover the head.
Service members of the Hospital Service wear the same clothing as the Knights or Dames of the Military Order of the Collar. The companions or assistants of the Hospital Service may wear a dark lounge suit during the day and a dark tuxedo or lounge suit at night.
In the case of the nobility, the clothes make the man!
