Masirah Island is an isolated island that is home to small towns, remote beaches, and most importantly, it is the base of the Oman Air Force. It has a few spectacular beaches that have nothing but shipwrecks. Thus, making it an ideal spot for a beach picnic.

With a panoramic view of the sea and the city, Mutrah Corniche is an ideal place for such an experience. The majestic mountains in the background with white buildings and the tall pillars of the mosque are a sight not to be missed. While you are here, you can also visit the nearby souk which is a shopaholic’s paradise, you can buy silver jewelry, Oud-shaped souvenirs and fragrances, incense burners and more.
