The two planets revolve around a small sun, a dwarf sun, as the term is often used for small sized planets, but in this case, these two planets are the size of the earth, and the sun is small, so what we can call it, a dwarf sun, i.e. its size is 1/8 the size of the earth’s sun, so I think the analogy fits. This solar system, of these two planets and the sun, is forty light years from earth, small as it is, it is visible from the telescope on earth and by the Hubble Space Telescope, in interstellar space, without any problem. William H. Waldorf is a psychologist, with a secondary doctorate in psychodynamics.
Scientists know that man will never be able to physically walk on either of these two planets, but they are interested: it would take 80 years to go there and back, at the speed of light.
Dr. Waldorf, stationed in Darmstadt, Germany, as a Space Station consultant there, has been working on a special project, a system that will change time travel, i.e. faster than the speed of light, where debris and fragments of a person, through the projection of the mind, will come together, like a shadow and this shadow will travel this distance, and you will be able to observe and interact with your observations and produce real life conditions on those planets or, for that matter, on any planet, once its location is pinpointed-; a form of personification through the shadow itself. Of course, it’s more complicated than that, but in simple terms, that’s it in a nutshell. Let me also add, one’s shadow takes the place of one’s physiology. As long as you are in this state of mind, you would no longer exist here on earth, as long as you are anywhere else you are.
Some of the complications are that the slightest movement on earth would disturb the gravity and molecular balance around you on the other planet; although on such a planet you would be mentally present, you would interact with objects, faces, shapes, angles, and colors. Any disturbance, I repeat, involved would upset the interaction, produce delusional implications, distorted visions, cause one’s atoms to go into disarray, completely on the visiting planet.
Dr. Waldorf explained to his colleagues that this was a new kind of astronaut, the new one and the future. Therefore, one could be led to the life of a transstaller. If you can see something through a telescope, that something you’re looking at has a trigger to project something towards you, your image, therefore you can reverse that, so that something draws your image towards it, but more with more personification , more incarnation.
As for the good doctor, he had extended the barriers of the brain, modified the atoms, their interactions, inside the brain, those 100 billion molecules, that swim around and inside its nucleus, reprogramming them into a map, to invade the cosmos. . Occasionally the unbelievable becomes believable, by trial and error: that was his philosophy.
And it is not true, two brains are better than one, and in this case it was a brain, and a single brain, he did not allow anyone to enter his circle of experimentation, although he kept them updated, so that he would not lose his scholarship. . What he did not see was the law of a new environment. He had built a contemplative vision and visual impressions to his earthly cylinder that would transport him to his destination: his shadow would be so light that it would cause no problem with travel through space and its matter, nor the various spheres of the earth. It didn’t need gravity to pull it, nor light, but two triggers, one from the person looking at the sight, and one trigger from the sight, gaze, that’s the sight of destiny, that interaction, with the shadow of it, being as light as a feather, it would project over its landmass, but it needed to be perfectly focused, lest it end up in the liquid heat of the sun, and who knows what then, the inevitable.
He took with him the laws and perspectives of his own world. He hung motionless inside a hanging cylinder, suspended in midair, warm but almost frozen in place, as if not to move. His mind traveled through space and time in a quantum wave, faster than time, a hundred times, light years faster (200 million miles per second, give or take?) (or about 12 billion miles per second). miles per minute, or 61.2 billion miles per hour…?
He couldn’t remember anything beyond himself by looking around the spatial cylinder a couple of times, he couldn’t imagine anything, he wasn’t even in REM sleep, he fell into a dead, lifeless sleep.
He woke up on one of the two planets, strangely he could breathe, he evidently had a light stratosphere, enough for a shadow, if he needed one, he was breathing in his cylinder. He had a ghostly form, an impression of himself in most of him, but mentally more there than on earth. He felt like some kind of cataleptic god, like the gods of mythology. It was as if his mind produced heat folded into atoms, he was a carbon copy of himself on earth, in contorted shadows. As he looked around, it seemed that the planet was at the stage that Earth had been during a previous Ice Age, when North America had reached its pre-Clovis phase, somewhere between 16,000 and 9,000 BC. C., he saw a mammoth, cousin of the elephant. . He heard thunder, felt the inscrutable heat of the dwarf sun.
He had left the earth when he was 50 years old, now he was 130 years old in terrestrial time, and he knew that if he returned he would die physically, so he told his companions that he wanted to stay where he was, and thus, his mummified body was preserved in a coffin motionless, called “The Waldorf Catacomb”, held in the British Museum, in one of its basement back rooms, safe and silent.
