Ladies, if you want to stay beautiful and attractive regardless of age, having strong bones is a must! Our bones support the entire structure of our body, give us good posture, and determine the amount of physical activity we can endure.
First of all, if you are taking medications that claim to treat osteoporosis, be aware that these medications not only cause long-term toxic overload, but they also poison our bones, resulting in a loss in the ability to produce new and strong bones.
According to Dr. Al Sears (MD and editor of New England Health Advisory), some drugs that are supposed to treat weak bones, for example. Fosomax, Boniva, Reclast, Actonel have been shown to cause bone fractures in women.
In one study, 65% of women taking long-term medications continued to have bone fractures in the same areas, and the worst part was that the fractures took longer to heal.
Ready for some really natural and easy ways to build strong bones now?
1) Get in the sun for at least 15 minutes every day
We need vitamin D to have healthy bones and prevent fractures. There is simply no substitute for good old-fashioned sunlight – vitamin D from the sun is in a format that our bodies can recognize, that is. we can absorb it and use it directly.
Any other supplement or pill is like poor imitations, with formats unrecognizable to our body. Why settle for second best when we can step into the sun at any moment and enjoy reality?
If you are vegan, you can also include mushrooms in your diet. Mushrooms are a special type of organism that grows without sunlight, since they already contain vitamin D. Its consumption also contributes to our intake of vitamin D.
2) Vitamin K vs Calcium
Many people still believe in the myth of milk and dairy products; We think that milk contains calcium and we drink it to have strong bones. We’ve talked about the “Milk and Dairy Myth” about 2 years ago, and you can check the article in the archives for more clarity.
So even if we are out of the milk myth, many of us still think that calcium is the most important element for healthy bones. Actually, calcium is present in abundance in various live foods – most green leafy vegetables are high in calcium, sesame seeds are calcium superheroes too. In fact, if we eat a high raw diet with lots of green smoothies and salads, it is impossible to suffer from calcium deficiency.
The question we must ask ourselves is whether our body can absorb and use calcium or not. For calcium to be absorbed, our body needs vitamin K.
Where does vitamin K come from?
Again, green leafy vegetables.
So now it’s not easy to see why people who switched to a high Live Food diet with green smoothies as their base food grow younger, fitter and stronger!
3) Maintain an optimal hormonal balance
Sex hormones like progesterone and estrogen also aid in calcium absorption. The number one reason women are more prone to bone fractures than men is because women go through life stages where their hormones fluctuate: ovulation, childbirth, menopause.
Returning hormones to their natural balance is essential to ensure that the woman continues to absorb calcium and thus can build strong bones.
Eating more sea vegetables, eating dark chocolate, Goji berries, and Maca can help restore hormonal imbalances.
Oh, and did we mention falling in love? Go ahead and fall in love, over and over again, with your spouse / partner / dog / hamster or that hottie (man or woman does not matter as long as you like it ☺); give love and receive love every day.
When we fall in love, we produce happy hormones, which come from sex hormones, and what better way to fall in love, feel happy, and have strong bones at the same time!
4) Aim for a diet rich in amino acids
The simpler the protein molecules, the easier it is for the body to absorb and use them. The simplest form of protein is amino acids; We don’t really need protein anyway, we can’t do anything with it. If we eat protein, we have to go the extra mile to break it down into second-hand amino acids before we can use it. Why go through the trouble when we have top-notch amino acids from Living Foods?
Some foods high in amino acids include Alfalfa Sprouts, Sunflower Sprouts, Sprouted Pumpkin / Sunflower Seeds, Goji Berries, Hemp Seeds, and Marine Plankton (a big problem in the superfood world!)
5) Do some weight-bearing exercise
Instead of cardio, opt for resistance training like swimming, hiking, stair climbing, Pilates, and yoga.
Yoga is a great way to stay in beautiful, anti-aging shape, build strong bones, and strengthen your mind at the same time. In Yoga, you use your own body weight as resistance to train the muscles, and you have a low risk of injury because you are constantly aware of your own body, as well as practically no muscle tension (as long as the class is well structured). due to the powerful stretch.
It’s like receiving your delicious cake, perfectly wrapped, eat it and lose weight too!
