Google Mums Future
The Google M Mum preview launched last year and has been a huge success. It allows users to upload videos, photos and documents to share with friends and family. The service is available free of charge for a limited time period. The model is similar to that of Facebook’s 360 video feature but the difference is the use of Google search as the medium through which the content is accessed. This means that not only can the user see videos from all over the web but they can also find documents from Google. This new model gives users access to content that they may never have access to otherwise.
However the M Mum website is not the only way in which Google is changing the way that they search. They are also making changes to the Google Search results. They are introducing new features such as the Google Suggest” feature which suggests certain types of information based on what is entered into the search box. The result could be relevant websites, Wikipedia, maps or even upcoming UK tournaments. All of this is part of Google’s plan to improve the experience that users have online.
However, according to Google, this is just the start and that the M Mum website will not be forgotten soon. They are working on a number of other new ideas, including tools that will allow users to upload videos to their website. These videos will be listed in the “Videos” section of the main site and will no longer be part of the Google Video category. A further change will see the removal of links to paid sites from being present on the main Google website.
The New Google Mums Future
Google also says that they will be looking into ways of improving the privacy of the website. One example they cited was where someone may post a link to an adult website. The site would appear on the Google website but the link would not appear when a search is performed for that particular term. Until these changes are made, it may still be possible for someone to find information about the owner of a website by searching the name using a search engine.
Google is also looking into ways in which people can sign up for any RSS feeds on the website. It is unclear whether such feeds will be possible in the future or not. The reason why this may not be possible in the future is because of how Google’s search engine ranking system works. They will only rank websites based on the quality of content that they have generated and passed onto the main site. Other websites may be ranked higher simply because their information has been more informative and the articles themselves are of a high standard.
The changes that Google are making to their Mums site are undoubtedly designed to target those parents who are looking to create an online presence for their children. They want to give them a better chance of being found on the main website. They are also hoping that doing this will entice more adults to use the website to look up information about topics they may be interested in. As with every other part of Google, their services are not free. You will have to pay a small fee to access all of the information you will find on the new Google Mum site, but it is likely that it will be worth it.
