The Sony ICF-CS10iP is a perfect accessory for your iPod or iPhone. I enjoy using this clock myself, and it has great features that I wouldn’t trade for any other alarm clock on the market.
Design
First of all, I don’t know if you noticed, but this model is extremely elegant. I especially love how the shape of the alarm is so easy to use, with all the buttons in one area for easy access. There is no part of the clock that is not useful, and its beautiful black finish makes it very suitable for any area of the house, especially on the bedside table.
It has user-friendly features that make operating the device a breeze. You will definitely find it easy because with the simple touch of a button, you can navigate around the device, set your alarms and search for radio stations. You can put it on any flat surface, since its design makes it very comfortable to put even on top of the TV or on the coffee table.
The dimensions of the device are 290.5 x 152 x 139.5mm, and the weight of the entire system is 4.4lbs, quite inconvenient to carry but handy enough to transfer to different places in the home.

The ICF-CS10iP’s LCD screen is nothing short of remarkable. It has adjustable brightness so you can turn it down at night if you want to keep your room dark. It displays a 12-hour time format for easy time reading, and you won’t have to squint to see the time because of the large numbers on the LCD screen.
Audio
The iPhone and iPod compatibility of this device makes it really fascinating. By pairing your i-devices, you can play soundtracks from them, which means you can customize your playlist through your i-device. The 3.5W + 3.5W 5.7cm diameter speakers produce excellent quality sound that would outperform any boom box. It also makes use of the Mega Bass and Mega Xpand audio features that add to the excellent sound quality of the clock radio. The digital tuner allows you to easily navigate through frequencies and you can save your favorite radio stations by setting 10 FM preset frequencies and 5 AM preset frequencies.
You can also use the radio or track player to create the perfect sleeping environment. Play your favorite slow tunes and wind down to soothing music, and let the radio turn off automatically by setting a timer that you can set for 15, 30, 60 and 90 minutes.

It’s an alarm clock, and I can tell it does a good job of that duty. There are two different alarm settings you can set for 2, 5, or 7-hour snooze formats, making it easy for you to set a permanent alarm for different days based on your schedule. You also have the option to sleep a little longer using the snooze button, which allows you to sleep an extra ten minutes, up to an hour in ten-minute intervals.
The clock alarm sounds can also be modified according to your preferences. Set your alarm to the standard chime sound, set your favorite frequency to wake you up, or pick your favorite disco song to rock your room.
Other features
That’s not all the ICF-CS10iP has to offer. You can also conveniently navigate the device using the remote control, which allows you to operate the clock radio even from a distance. Although it has an AC adapter, it also has a built-in battery backup system that allows it to function even during power outages. You wouldn’t have to worry about not being able to wake up the next morning if there are sudden power outages.
The iPod or iPhone docking station allows you to charge your phone, making it a dual-duty dock. You can charge while listening to your favorite tracks stored on your device, or while viewing your photos and browsing your phone’s messages and files.

The ICF-CS10iP Alarm Clock Speaker Dock is one of my favorite home devices, simply because it does more than just an alarm clock. It makes shopping for an alarm clock much more rewarding and I can say that I am perfectly satisfied with the performance of this device.
