Pokémon cards: the correct way to trade them

April 30, 2021 by admin

There is a wrong way and a right way to trade Pokémon cards. Many people make a mistake when exchanging letters and they frustrate the person they just exchanged with, or they end up in distress. This happens all too often, but most people do not realize exactly why or how a bad trade occurs.

Whether the wronged party realizes that they were duped at the time or even just 10 minutes later, they most likely won’t be able to make a trade, as most Pokémon card players will disagree. with that. This is why knowing how to trade Pokémon cards correctly is so important.

If you follow the following five rules of Pokémon card trading, you will never be caught on the wrong side of a deal again.

1. Don’t Create Elaborate Agreements

By this, I mean don’t trade 20 cards for 1 or 2 cards. Try to keep your trades at 1 to 1 ratios. Some of the worst trades come when one person has an extraordinarily rare card and the other party offers several dozen not-so-rare cards for it. A person in this deal will surely be scammed.

Now, obviously, there are some cards that are worth more than others of the same rarity, but the closer you can keep the trade to a card for a card, the better your chances of getting a fair deal.

2. Never feel obligated

Don’t feel obligated to complete an exchange; if you’re not comfortable about it, just grab your cards and leave. No one is forcing you to exchange your Pokemon Cards. Only do it if you feel good about the exchange.

Even if you feel confident about your operation, you must follow rule number 3, which is …

3. Request a second opinion

Ask one of your friends what he thinks about trading. The person you are negotiating with should do the same. This is a great idea to make sure the two of you aren’t blatantly missing something. You may have forgotten that a certain card has recently risen in value, which is an unfair trade.

The more people think about trade, the more equitable it will be.

4. Negotiate with people the same age as you

Some of the most uneven trades I have seen occur when an older person trades with a younger person. The youngster often does not realize the value of his cards and the older player tries to take advantage of it.

If you trade with people the same age as you, they are much less likely to push you.

5. Be happy with the trade

Even if you have established fair trade, if you are not satisfied with it, please do not! Just because each of you gets the same value doesn’t mean the trade needs to be completed. There may be sentimental value on your cards that cannot be offset.

Only complete the exchange if you are completely satisfied with the proposed deal.

Finally, as long as you follow those five rules for trading Pokémon cards, you should never have a problem again. It is very simple to prevent a bad trade from happening with this knowledge. Be sure to teach your friends these rules, so they don’t fall into the trap of a bad job again.
