We know that Mother Nature has given us everything we need, namely food, clothing, and shelter. Our ancestors were also completely dependent on nature. They completely respected nature. They take what they need and what they need.
But as civilization progresses, the greed of humans also appreciates it. As the population increases, more destruction is done to nature. They started cutting down trees for the land and agriculture, killing animals so that they could capture the place where the animals live, etc. But the thing was to the limit.
As the trend toward industrialization and globalization approaches, more damaging destruction occurs. Now to establish industries requires land, so forests were cut down. To connect one city to another, mountains were drilled to make roads and railways. Dams were also built to generate a growing need for electricity. All of this placed a great burden on Mother Nature’s heart.
The main destruction caused by nature is global warming. Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the air and oceans near the Earth’s surface since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation. Due to global warming, glaciers will melt and sea water levels will rise. If it continues, one day the whole earth will sink.
Now that we had done so much damage to nature, it is now our responsibility to prevent harm to nature. We can all follow some simple but effective measures, which are as follows: –
1. Plant more and more trees.
2. Turn off lights when you don’t need them.
3. Use CFLs instead of light bulbs.
4. Use public transportation more and more.
5. Use the cycle to travel a short distance.
6. Encourage car sharing.
7. Use solar and wind energy for domestic purposes.
