All Types of Health Insurance Packages
There are several types of Dutch insurance companies. The most popular of these is the “een Eensteins”, or the Netherlands Antilles Insurance Company, which has been in business for over one hundred years. The other insurance companies that you might want to consider are the “vote van eensteins”, or Dutch East Indies Insurance, and the “van de gogas” or the West Indies Insurance Company. While it may seem like these companies all have the same product offerings and coverage, they are actually not necessarily similar in what they offer or how they go about their business. When comparing these companies, it is important to remember that there is a significant difference between the coverage and service offerings of each.
As you will see when comparing the various Dutch insurance companies, they are not all the same in their offerings on health insurance. Not only are they all not in the same position, but many of them also will not cover your specific needs. In some cases, they will only cover specific medical conditions. It is critical that you understand what your specific Netherlands Dutch basic insurances covers so that you can make an informed decision on which company to use.

The cost of a policy will likely be one of the first things you should consider. The typical Dutch insurance companies provide coverage for eight different illness types. These illnesses include diabetes, heart disease, cancer, pulmonary disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, blindness, and much more. While you are able to purchase a policy for any of these conditions, the cost of the premium is likely to be higher than the cost of a policy that covers just a few of these conditions. If you have a condition that is considered to be very common in the Netherlands, the premiums on your basic health insurance plan may be substantially higher than they would be if you had coverage for just a few of the more common diseases.
How to Compare All Types of Health Insurance Packages in One Place
The next thing you should consider is whether or not you need prescription coverage with your basic health insurance company. Some of the optional items that some of the Dutch insurance companies offer include vision care, dental, mental health, home health, and additional procedures such as hair replacement and surgery. In the event that you have any of these additional coverage options, the premiums for the plan may also be higher than the cost of the plan if you were to purchase it independently.
The next aspect of your decision needs to be the type of deductible you are willing to pay on each policy. Some of the insurers in the Dutch insurance companies have plans that feature an extremely low annual deductible. You should know the difference between the annual deductibles offered by the different companies and the amount of the deductible, you will have to pay.
The last thing to consider when comparing the various types of insurance packages available is the premium for each plan. Although it is not a necessity, it is a good idea to compare the premium prices in your current basic Dutch medical insurance package against the monthly premiums of the various plans. You will likely find that the monthly premiums for the health insurance package you choose will be much lower if you were to purchase the insurance plan in its entirety versus purchasing part of it in this manner. Regardless of which insurance packages you decide to go with, you will want to keep your financial situation in mind. If you are financially able, you may want to consider purchasing the insurance package outright rather than purchasing it in a bundled way.
