Gympak Kettlebell Product Review

July 1, 2021 by admin

Kettlebells are becoming an increasingly popular type of training equipment. They are relatively inexpensive and can give you a full-body strength and conditioning workout. When done correctly, kettlebell training has been shown to be more effective than a standard military regimen of chin-ups, sprints, and long-distance runs. Kettlebell training is currently being incorporated into all types of training regimens, especially among strength and conditioning coaches for athletes. You can improve your grip (grip), explosiveness (hitting), flexibility (both), and just general cardio training.

The Gympak Kettlebell is a very sturdy product made from a cast iron ball, sturdy steel handle and painted with a matte gray finish. The kettlebell also comes with a rubberized fit which is good if you don’t want to damage your floor. The product comes in 11 different weights and sizes: 9 pounds, 18 pounds, 26 pounds, 35 pounds, 44 pounds, 53 pounds, 62 pounds, 70 pounds, 79 pounds, 88 pounds, and 97 pounds for the super heavyweights. For this particular review, I’ll be focusing on the 35-pound kettlebell.

There are two main things to consider when buying a kettlebell: the handle and the balance. The handle is a very important part of the kettlebell because you will experience a lot of movement during exercise. The circumference should fit your hand well so you can have a solid grip. The circumference of the Gympak Kettlebells grip is about 4 1/2 “. This is a good thick grip that I can hold tightly, but not too thick where I can’t secure properly. The Gympak Kettlebells grip has a good width too. The handle of a particular model is approximately 9 “wide. A wide grip is good because you can do two-handed exercises, as well as grab the outer edges to target particular muscles. I was able to do front delt raises by grabbing the corner of the handle so that I could hit the front delts well. The handle of the kettlebell is also high enough that you can swing it without hurting your hand. Some kettlebells have sharp corners and very narrow grips that limit your exercises, so the Gympak Kettlebell is definitely more useful than those types.

The second thing that you should definitely consider is the weight distribution on the kettlebell. This is going to be a bit more difficult to say, but you will have to sway a few times to get familiar with it. The Gympak kettlebell has a very nice flow motion, especially in the snatch exercise. The reason weight distribution (or balance) is so important with kettlebells is because most exercises are performed using a rocking motion. You need constant fluid movement in most of these exercises and if the kettlebell is not balanced correctly, you risk injuring yourself much more frequently.

The Gympak Kettlebell is definitely one of the best kettlebells I have ever used and at a price of about $ 1.40 / lbs it is also one of the best prices out there. The rubber fit is also a bonus because I train indoors and my wife wouldn’t appreciate it poking holes in the floors of the crossbars.
